Parking Lot Lighting

Parking Lot Lighting falls under the same rules, regulations and parameters as Street Lighting.

Numerous municipalities in the State of Florida have not adopted local codes associated with light levels for their parking lots, and like Street Lighting many are not aware these codes exist.

Davco recognized this void and set a standard that would provide lighting to our customers that did comply with these established codes. The implementation of this standard has been extremely well received within the various communities who have remedied this infraction, by bringing their facilities up to code. Recognizing both the compliance and safety consequences.

Davco has and always will provide parking lot/security walkway lighting that falls under the present and future Florida Building Code and conforms to the Palm Beach County Uniformed Land Development (PBCULD) code.

The PBCULD has specific light levels, photo metrics and max to minimum ratios in which each client and electrical contractor must  comply.
