Many municipalities within the State of Florida have not adopted local codes associated with light levels for their parking lots, and in many instances are not even aware that these codes exist.
With that in mind Davco needed to set a standard that would provide lighting to our customers that did comply with some established codes, which are well respected within the various communities.
Davco has and always will provide parking lot/security walkway lighting that falls under the present and future Florida Building Code, and conforms to the Palm Beach County Uniformed Land Development Ordinance #87-26, Table 500 and general notes of the ordinance.
This ordinance does have specific light levels, photo metrics and max to minimum ratios in which compliance must be met.
