Davco Electric and Balfour Beatty Construction have been contracted to complete the new 90,000 sq ft public safety training center will include:

A 24-lane firing range.  

A five story structure made out of fire-retardant material for firefighting training.  Wooden pallets and hay are burned to create the fire.

A new gym will be a tactical center to provide students with training in injury prevention, physical agility and how to handle unruly prisoners.

An EMS simulation center will have kitchens and bedrooms that are 'scenario rooms' for EMS students to respond to calls.

Crime scene investigation area.

New clasrooms and offices.
