Ft. Pierce, the county seat of St. Lucie County, provides a window to Florida's storied past. In the western part of the county one can find citrus groves and cattle ranches dominating the landscape and on the eastern coast, the Atlantic Ocean.

It is a place where people of all ages still participate in baseball, football, soccer and other team sports, and where their family, friends and classmates come to watch the game.

Under the supervision of the Recreation Division of the St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation Department, Lawnwood Stadium is the premier gathering place for such events. Renovating this recreational jewel is one of Davco's proudest accomplishments.

Lawnwood Sports Complex consists of multiple baseball and soccer fields, and a magnificent football stadium. The complex has the capability to broadcast night time television programs which produces superior viewing. This quality is a direct result of the comprehensive sports lighting system installation, which was design-built and implemented by Davco Electrical Contractors Corp.

As Lawnwood Sports Complex has expanded and grown over the years to accommodate the recreational needs of its citizens, Davco has been a partner with St. Lucie Country Parks and Recreation Department to assist them in accomplishing their goals.

Over the years, working with Musco Sports Lighting, Inc., Davco has installed more than 50 sports lighting poles and 400 lighting fixtures at the Lawnwood Sports Complex. The contact for these projects were approximately $350,000.
