The new school replaced 5 existing buildings and is located on the original 9.2 acre site, will encompass approximately 148,412 square feet of space. The project is a comprehensive modernization/replacement with a classroom addition to bring the capacity to 970 students.
Davco's project scope consist of the complete electrical system, including the fire safety system, access control system, intercom, site lighting and a complete back-up generator system.
When completed in the fall of 2006, the modernized campus featured a drama room with indoor/outdoor staging, cafeteria seating for over 330 students at a time, a music hall, an art studio, full media center, complete administrative offices, a kindergarten play area, separate physical education building, a central courtyard with landscape gardens, and athletic fields.
Working with The Weitz Company, General Contractor, Davco's portion of the contract is approximately $2.7 Million. |
