David J. Blotnick leaf Chief Operating Officer
When establishing his academic foundation, Mr. Blotnick consciously selected Babson College, located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Recognized internationally for its entrepreneurial leadership in a changing global environment, Babson's Undergraduate program has been ranked #1 in entrepreneurship by U.S.News & World Report for the past 12 years and is listed in their Top 25 best business programs in 2005. This began the precursor to Mr. Blotnick's career achievements.

Completing his MBA Program at Boston University in Finance and Operations, Mr. Blotnick began his professional journey guiding his first company by directing 7 senior Managers and 250 employees through extensive internal expansion over the next ten years. By executing a series of vertical and horizontal acquisitions, Mr. Blotnick was the financial architect who increased revenues from $13 Million to over $30 Million in the organizations U.S. and International marketplace.

Solicited by a large retail operation in Central Florida as COO/CFO, Mr. Blotnick took on the challenge of growing the company from two to five locations in addition to a large distribution center. Surviving the impact of a devastating fire at the largest location, he brought the company back to it pre-disaster financial foundation and then went on to exceed their annual financial goals.

Continuing his professional ascent, Mr. Blotnick was then challenged as Vice President-Operations to position a major building manufacturer, on the east coast of Florida, to the next plateau. He directed the logistics of a major manufacturing facility relocation, while applying new and innovative manufacturing processes. Mr. Blotnick continued the transition with a complete reorganization including additional staffing, new and innovative MLO policies and he elevated and implemented industry standard business and financial operating practices and procedures. Managing 8 senior Managers and 225 employees, Mr. Blotnick advanced sales growth from $13 Million to $22 Million; he ultimately oversaw the sale and transition of the company to a Fortune 500 Company and he did it in two years.

In 2005, Mr. Blotnick accepted the position as Chief Operating Officer of Davco Electrical Contractors Corp. presented by Davco's President, B. David Collins, Jr. Overseeing all aspects of daily operations, including P & L and Project Management, Mr. Blotnick began his tenure managing a complete build-out and relocation of the firms' corporate headquarters in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Anticipating continued momentum in both financial and project growth, Mr. Blotnick increased the recruitment of technical and project management professionals, together with administrative and accounting staffing to accommodate this advancement, while refining the operating procedures throughout the company. Supervising over 8 Senior Managers and 300 employees, Mr. Blotnick has positioned Davco Electrical Contractors Corp. to continue as an undisputed leader in the electrical and lighting industry.

"I more and more see the need both of courage to stand fast and the willingness to change. Even though these two characteristics seem contrary and paradoxical, a successful life demands a proper mixture of them both. One is the lock and the other is the key; either without the other becomes useless." Roger Ward Babson (1875-1967) "Before Making Important Decisions"
