Don Birth Project Manager
Donald began his 30 year career in the electrical industry in South Florida. Graduating from Plantation High School in the top 10% of his class, he had developed an aptitude for detail. Enrolling in Construction School for Continuing education and Mike Holts School for Electricians, set the foundation for Donald's vocation. In 1975, Donald joined a local electrical contractor where he stayed for six years developing his skills. During that time he obtained his Journeyman License in both Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

In 1982, Donald acquired his Master Electricians License in both Palm Beach and Broward Country and then started his own company.

Working in all phases of commercial and residential electrical systems, company projects consisted of shopping centers, industrial buildings, apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, residential housing projects, gas stations, marina and dock electrical design and installation, and aircraft hangers.

With the business growing outside the south Florida boundaries, Donald attained the coveted State of Florida Certified Unlimited Electrical Contractor License in 1982.

Coming up through the ranks, Donald's skills include everything from hands on electrical installations of power supplies, emergency generators control cabinets, security and fire protection systems to extensive project planning and management, field engineering, estimating, purchasing and supervision of 150 employees.

Donald has brought this level of professional experience and expertise to the Commercial Division, which will reflect in the continued quality Davco Electrical Contractor Corp customers have come to expect.

Paul Notartomaso Chief Estimator
Paul began his electrical career in 1976, when he studied Electrical Theory at Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the next several years he obtained his Journeyman's license in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts and his Master's license in Massachusetts.

After owning his own electrical contracting business for eight years, Paul joined Consolidated Electrical. As a Senior Estimator, he created estimates for assigned projects, developed a preventive maintenance program and ran the service department.

After five year, Paul was recruited by a large New England electrical contractor as Chief Estimator, where he was responsible for all capitol bid submittals up to $3 million. He created innovative estimating procedures, techniques and accounting practices to accommodate this growing business. His efforts resulted in increased sales from $3.5 to $12 million dollars, enlarged the technical staff from 20 members to over 90 and increased office support staff from 7 to 14 members.

After building this organization, Paul spent the next four years duplicating his efforts with two other large New England electrical contractors. His efforts resulted in bid assignments exceeding $6.5 million, which helped these companies to realize substantial growth in their business, improve their client and personnel relationships and increase their bottom line by providing exceptional customer service and project excellence.

Paul brings that experience and expertise to Davco Electrical Contractors Corp. which will blend efficiently with the work ethic and high standards set by Davco's senior management.
