Mark Komar Division Manager
Mark began his electrical career in 1973 as an apprentice through a vocational training program , while attending high school in Texas. He belonged to "Vocational Industrial Club of America" where he served as Sergeant at Arms in his junior year, and President his senior year.

After high school Mark attended college and joined Qualis Electric as a journyman electrician. After his first 2 years, he was promoted to Estimator and stayed with Qualis for an additional 2 years before taking a position with Dal-Kar Electric.

While working as an estimator for Dal-Kar Electric, Mark was promoted to Manager. As Manager, he oversaw all office functions such as, AR/AP, customer service, job cost accounting and contract review while also managing multiple projects. Mark oversaw many large scale Industrial, Commercial and Residential projects before his promotion to Regional Manager of South Florida. This position moved Mark from Texas to South Florida and placed him in charge of 60 employees. While in Florida, Mark obtained his "Unlimited Electrical Contractors" license (Masters).

In 1991, following the 11 years with Dal-Kar, Mark started his own business in the Fringe Banking sector. As President of Four Points, Inc., Mark dealt with all aspects of business including; finance, bonding, procurement, inventory management, insurance, etc.. Shortly upon the successful sale of his 15 year old business, Mark accepted a position with Davco Electrical.

Mark's diverse background in electrical and business operations make him a valuable member of the team at Davco.

Russell White Project Manager
A licensed electrician since 1974, Russell entered the electrical industry in 1970 as an apprentice. With his first sports lighting installation for the City of West Palm Beach in 1973, Russell recognized the specialization of these projects and has dedicated his career to this distinctive arena.

For over forty years, rising from field apprentice to Senior Project Manager, Russell has utilized his exceptional and in-depth knowledge to supervise up to 20 active projects and a dedicated team of over 60 professionals simultaneously.

Directly involved with the contract negotiations, cost analysis and benefits, design and site utilization, scheduling and logistical planning, Russell has completed over 600 sports lighting system installations in athletic venues and recreational parks throughout the State of Florida.

Recognized for his considerable expertise in the sports lighting discipline, Russell is often approached by electrical engineers, specifiers and architectural firms soliciting his advice and input regarding the viability of their designs, the logistics and budgets relative to the feasibility and the realistic expectations of a specific project.

Russell has provided valuable insight to architects, engineers and to our clients, into other issues involved in the sport and recreational installations, including user-friendly sound systems and scorekeeper controls. He has designed numerous power requirement systems for ultimate optimizing of safety and value, saving both time and money in the project construction phase.

Assembling a highly qualified and effective team, Russell has elevated the Sports Lighting and Civil Division to the premier position of being the recognized leader in its field.

David Ross General Superintendent
In 1965, David began his career with the United Wire Hanger Company in Hasbrouck, New Jersey as a general maintenance repairman.

For over 20 years, David advanced through the ranks to become the Plant Forman responsible for the supervision of over 150 employees.

Retiring in 1985, David relocated to south Florida joining Davco as a field construction worker installing sports lighting systems. Working under the supervision of Russell White, he quickly embraced the discipline involved with this innovative and unique industry, rising through the ranks to General Superintendent within two years.

Advancing his already considerable competence, David became certified and proficient on many diverse and complex industrial machines including large cranes and drilling rigs. This is in addition to his significant expertise in the physical construction of each project, including the ability to operate and work on 5000 amp dc motors to 1.32 high-voltage transmission lines.

David is an intricate and valuable member of the Sports Lighting and Civil Division team.

Vaughn Collins Assistant Project Manager
Vaughn Collins, son of founder and owner David B. Collins Jr has been working for Davco since he was a child.

Vaughn has sat in many chairs at Davco Electrical from Assistant to Fleet Manager to Estimating.
